ADULT LEARNING

Many adults are continuing and returning to education for many reasons. The main reason is that many are about to embark upon new careers.

I achieved my Management NVQ Level 4 at work. For me it was the only way at that time that I could achieve this qualification, as I had other commitments outside of the workplace. My husband has achieved his NVQ in Business Administration. These qualifications are recognised and have helped us in getting the positions that we now hold.

If you are not able to agree education whilst at work (this could be that the course you would like to take is not work related), there are many other alternatives and financial support for adults continuing and returning to learning.

If we were to undertake other qualifications, we would consider achieving this by E-learning. This can be achieved through the use of information and communications technology. This means taking courses from any place and at your own pace. Imagine the flexibility that this offers. Through e-learning you are also able to take a course(s) that are not available in your area.

This facility may not be suitable for others as it could be that others prefer and enjoy networking with other students in person, rather than through the use of information technology. The opportunities and support for adult learning is vast and we hope that we have assisted in helping you to select the right course and study environment through the links provided below.

We have provided you with a on-line recruitment agency (Pursue IT Recruitment Ltd) who offers advise and consultancy to people wanting to work and study at the same time.
